Born and trained in Valencia (Spain) Borja Bonaque professionally developed his illustration work in 2008 shortly after completing his studies in Fine Arts.
He undertook his first commissions for agencies in his natal city and soon after took the international leap working for clients in England, France, Germany and the United States.
His illustration style dialogues with everyday life and embraces the synthesis of colours adapting to advertising campaigns for brands, such us Kia, Mr Porter, Deustche Bank and Lufthansa; Editorial commissions for Planeta, Penguin Random House, The Hollywood Reporter, La Vanguardia or The Financial Times among others.
He has had the opportunity to collaborate with agencies such as Pentagram, Anomaly, Someone, Cossette, Territory or Mediadam.
